My first hands-on teaching experience was wonderful!

It has been a dream of mine to put together such an event because I love to see the wonder and awe in the eyes of people as they learn something new. It is safe to say I am hooked on having these events including having repeats of the same experience because the different essential oils combinations are endless.

The event was held in the front room of Penn Nutrition at 6627 Penn Ave in Richfield. The space was the perfect size for the 5 of us to make a sugar scrub. The age ranged was from teen to 50's.

I spoke about five essential oils and two carrier oils used for winter skin case. The EOs were lavender, geranium, frankincense, vetiver and neroli-petitigrain. The two carrier oils were jojoba and coconut oil.

Each of us made our own take home sugar scrub jar based on the drop-by-drop method of creating the perfect aroma.

Sorry there are no pictures, I was having so much fun I neglected to take any,

The next event will be the 4th Thursday of March, see Meet-Ups section for more information.
